The Dalian 1-Lianli satellite designed and developed by the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics was successfully launched.

The school signed an agreement with Shenyang Aircraft Corporation to carry out joint training of professional postgraduates and build a practice base.

The School was designated as the anchor of the DUT-Aviation Industry Corporation of China United Technology Center (UTC) of Aircraft Refined Strength Design and Manufacturing, undertaking a large number of engineering development and activity organization tasks of the center.
